MEET OUR TALENTED TEAM

Imaginarium’s mission is to cultivate a love of the arts

and confidence in creative self-expression.

We engage the senses, play with a wide variety of materials, and focus on the process of making art rather than the product.

We are a collective of artists, facilitators & teachers, committed to creating safe and supportive spaces that encourage authenticity.

AYRLIE MACEACHERN

Ayrlie co-founded Imaginarium over 12 years ago.

She is a dancer, an artist facilitator and a community builder.  For over 25 years, Ayrlie has been facilitating creativity-based experiences - in schools, on weekend retreats, in day-long workshops, camps and classes.

Ayrlie's passion is to hold uplifting and supportive spaces where people of all ages come together to co-create and grow. She aspires to contribute to an inclusive, dynamic and peace-full world. A place where everyone has a sense of belonging.

What inspires Ayrlie is witnessing people's creativity in action: the bubbling up of possibility, the emotional connection with themselves and each other, the tangible sense of presence & joy!

Other creative projects of Ayrlie's include

HugsForLife.com   &   BigHeartDanceCamp.ca

SARAH MOYLETT

Sarah discovered art at a very young age, taking art classes from age 8. At age 14, Sarah was diagnosed with a severe anxiety and panic attack disorder. She soon discovered that painting was an important part of her mental health/ self care tool box, not just a hobby, a release of her anxieties. During the summer of 2018, Sarah began working as a camp councillor at Imaginarium, and completed some volunteer hours with them as well.

Her overall goal in life is to see the world, paint in all of her dream destinations, see famous artwork, and then afterwards work as an art therapist. Sarah wants to show other people who struggle with mental health that they can use art to heal themselves, and make it a tool to work through and release feelings of anxiety and depression. She wants the world to see the importance of art , and how it can make an impact on people’s lives.
